You may remember that The Grow Tent Guys did a review on the Green Go 1200W light a while back. It is an 85 watt Blurple LED grow light sold predominantly on Amazon’s website.
Well, we are happy to announce that Green Go has asked us to provide another honest review on their new Green Go GH 1200! Full disclosure, they did provide this light to us with the understanding that we would be giving a real, honest review based on our testing of the light.
Green Go has definitely stepped up their game with this newer Quantum Board design. Built using the newest SMD LED Diode Technology to provide high PAR output and high energy efficiency. Green Go states that, “it encompasses a continuous range of wavelengths from 3000K warm white and 6000K white to 660nm red and 740nm IR, creating a light blend matching the natural sunlight, providing your plants with natural full spectrum sunlight in all stages; from veg to flower, it’s ideal for growing plant’s from seeds to harvest.”
The GH 1200 allows for complete control of light intensity with its’ build in dimmer allowing you to reduce power when you don’t need as much and increasing it during flowering stages.
“The GREEN GO GH1200 contains 360 small LED diodes and can replace a traditional 250W HPS/MH with a consumption of only 120 watts,” Green Go says. “And covers an area of 3.5×3.5ft during the veg phase & 3x3ft during the bloom phase. No fans means no noise and the aluminum heat sink provides the passive heat dissipation. The LED board is waterproof and includes a protective cover for cables.
Multiple lights can be daisy chained from one receptacle. No additional cords are needed. Simply plug in the provided power cord into the second light’s outlet to connect among multiple units. It allow you to daisy chain up to 6 x GH1200 units for seamless expansion of your growing area.
